India observed September as the nutrition month, where the Government of India launched its flagship project ‘POSHAN Abhiyan.’ This initiative focuses on increasing awareness and nutritional practices of people, especially women and children by leveraging technology as the medium of communication.
#KnowYourPoshan campaign will see a pan-India participation from youngsters including video stories, live conversations and voices talking about how young people can leverage the power of online communities to spread awareness about health and nutrition.
The campaign, supported by Instagram and Facebook, aims to strengthen the government’s voice and efforts to fight malnutrition in the country.
